I've had a few requests recently for family favorite recipes made with our products. I'm so excited that you want to hear about these because these are the foods I feed my own family for our health (not to mention they just taste amazing)! I'm a little embarrassed to even call this one a "recipe" since its so uber-simple, but my family and I eat this multiple times a week. Its crisp, refreshing, tart, sweet, easy to throw together, and just the perfect side dish to balance out any of our grilled meats. I don't know about you, but I'm too dang busy to fuss with fancy weeknight dinners, and it literally can't get any easier than this!

We are excited to announce a new “Personal Concierge Shopper” and its FREE. (Slots are limited). I recognize how busy we all are ... we have jobs, we are taking care of families, trying to make sure everyone stays healthy by eating right, making sure school work is getting done, dropping off teenagers at activities .... and this is all before you even think about groceries, meal planning for the week, and ordering or picking up ingredients, etc. While the ability to simply log in to www.kristins-saltlake.com and order the food from us is a lot easier than going to the store, it’s still one more chore on the long list.... well... no more !

So, summer dinners for us look a lot like pasture-raised meat of some variety on the grill alongside a hearty, but bright and summery salad. This one has become a family favorite and is packed with satiating protein from both sprouted pumpkin seeds and garbanzo beans.

We've all seen the difference between dirt and soil with our own eyes. Dirt is what covers desolate old playgrounds that have been sprayed to kill weeds (and any other kind of plant life). Its hard, dusty, and simply dead. Soil on the other hand, is what your granny planted her garden in. Its rich, airy, teeming with life, and the perfect medium to cultivate life. When we started farming our newest property, it was definitely leaning more on the "dirt" side of the scale. We're doing everything in our power to regrow topsoil and generally improve the quality of the land. How do we even begin with such a huge undertaking? Well, everything on a regenerative farm begins with Cover Crop.
